Signs and Items Not Allowed

Signs are more that welcomed at Greystone Mansion as long as they are professionally made and free standing, or on an easel. Items not allowed: Confetti, glitter, silly string, artificial flower petals, jelly center dinner mints, chocolate fountains, fireworks, sparklers, Chinese lanterns, and bubbles. If my couple decides that they want a chocolate fountain, then Greystone will provide it at an additional fee. What about the setup for the ballroom? Vendor delivery is to be done no earlier than 2:00 pm the day of the wedding. What is perfect is that there is the garden ceremony, so there does not need to be an extra abundance of flowers because of the natural décor available. In the ballroom, there is included set up of table and chair placement, linen, chair covers, China plates, center pieces, and they will also dress the desert and gift table. Setup should be fairly simple especially if everything is completely planned! So excited!

What is not included in the all-inclusive Greystone Mansion package?

Each week we are getting closer and closer to the big day! What is important to know is what is not included. Greystone Mansion is an all-inclusive venue, but does not have a few items. Wedding Ceremony • Limo Service (however, they do provide an in town shuttle service for a fee) • Wedding Officiate (but they have offered to help find one) • Flowers • Photographer Wedding Reception • Wedding Cake • Alcoholic Beverages • Photographer Greystone Mansion has vendors that recommend for these services. The owner seems very much like a DIY guy! What he recommended for the wedding cake, is to get one at Sam’s Club and then go to JoAnn Fabrics or Michaels or an arts and crafts store for some ribbon to decorate the tiers of the cake yourself. As mentioned earlier in posts, alcoholic beverages need to be purchased ad brought in from the wedding party, as Greystone does not provide alcoholic beverages. This is a great money saver!

Bridal Suite, Wedding Coordinator/ Planner, Wedding Ceremony Rehearsal, Ballroom Pre-View

The beautiful wedding ceremony will include (in its price) a private bridal suite for the beautiful bride and bridesmaids to prepare for the big day! Included in this suite are a makeup station (with full length display mirrors), restroom, and a sitting area. Whether the ceremony is located in the indoor traditional wedding chapel, or the outdoor garden ceremony location, there a processional wedding ceremony coordinator and planner will be provided for your every question and need! Each ceremony package also includes a wedding ceremony rehearsal. This rehearsal is scheduled three weeks prior to your wedding date, and held a day before your big day! There is a time frame of an hour and a half and a minor fee for each additional half hour. This day needs to be perfect. For the ballroom pre-view, there will be an allotted time of one hour to get supplies brought in and set up. My couple is so excited!

Catering And Liquor

Catering is completed in the kitchen at Greystone Mansion. Included in catering is pricing that is for a dinner service for your first 100 guests. Any quest over 100 is an amount of $25.95. The bride and groom have the privilege of selecting a two entree dinner buffet, have a coffee and iced tea station, banquet staffing, cake cutting services, and thankfully, an end of the night clean up. Appetizers are not included in the pricing for the two entree dinner buffet; however, there are so many delicious ideas, that the price would definitely be worth it, especially the s'more bar for the kids. For the dinner selections, there can be two main dinner entrees selected, as well as two entree vegetable selections,two salad selections, and two entree potato selections. My bride and groom are thinking of lighter appetizer selections such as the assorted bar snack, hot artichoke and spinach dip, and crab rangoon. Their dinner selections will be the slow roasted prime rib carving station, and the vegetarian lasagna for the main dinner entree selection, baked green bean casserole and creamed cauliflower for the vegetables, cesar salad with croutons and a seafood pasta for their salad selections, and lastly, baked macaroni and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes with gravy for their entree potato section. Greystone Mansion does not handle deserts/wedding cakes. My couple is going to have a beautiful desert table with bite size deserts and use cup cakes as their wedding cake. Liquor is also not provided by Greystone (which is a major money saver)!! Greystone does provide insured and certified bartender service, unlimited soft drinks and mixers, coffee and tea stations, as well as the necessity...cups. #GreystoneMansion has a beautiful #weddingreception #ballroom area! It is based off of a seven and a half period (from 5:00 pm- 12:30 am). There is the capacity availability of #350 people. The #pricing is based on 8 people per table; with an additional fee of #$50.00per -table for each additional table for #centerpiece, #linens and #setup/teardown. #Catering is also included with the cost as well as a #DJ, #barservice and #bartenders. A beautiful #bridalsuite is also included for a place for the #bride and #bridesmaids to get ready for this event. Greystone Ceremony

#GreystoneMansion has a beautiful outdoor #ceremony location. In case of bad weather, Greystone will move the ceremony into their beautiful #WeddingChapel (free of charge). My couple would love to have the outdoor wedding ceremony in their beautiful #garden, over the bridge they have located on top of a stream in the garden. #SaveTheDates will be sent out soon!
